Chris received her BA in Economics from Emory University in Atlanta. After working in the investment business, she realized that her true roots were much closer to home. In 1990, she joined her mother as a co-owner of The Gate, an upscale home accessories and gift store in Harbour Bay Plaza in Sewall's Point.

Her unique combination of business acumen and creative talent is a winning combination that assures that you will have a beautiful space that stays on budget.

Chris’ upbeat personality and extensive experience makes the process of designing your space an enjoyable experience from the first consultation to the “the big reveal”.

After many successful years in business, Chris sold The Gate, and entered the interior design field fulltime. Ultimately, she returned to college and earned her A.S. in interior design and is now an allied member of ASID.
